I trained as a printed textile designer at Chelsea College of Art and Design, before going on to work with Sir Terence Conran, where I developed a passion for quality materials, and for creating work that's both beautiful and affordable. I am now an artist, specialising in beautifully detailed prints inspired by the natural world and personal commissions.
My favourite medium to work with is pencil on paper. They are simple tools, but they let me capture a huge amount of detail of my subject. Sometimes I'll add colour with gouache paints; you can carefully layer the colours, just like you would with a watercolour, but they're more versatile, and the shades are lovely and strong. I love working with a client to a brief – it's always so exciting to be creating something truly unique.
I consider the environment when producing my pictures. I source materials locally. I walk to the post office to post orders. All my packaging is made of paper. It is easily recycled and some has been recycled already.
If you would like to enquire about a commission, wedding stationery, having a pet portrait drawn or any other aspects of my work, I would love to hear from you. Please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org or use the contact form.
